ANTI DRUG COMMITTEE
The Anti-Drugs Committee (ADC) is a group formed at the institutional or organizational level with the goal of addressing and preventing drug abuse within the community. The committee typically works to raise awareness about the harmful effects of drugs, promote healthy lifestyle choices, and create a drug-free environment. The ADC plays a critical role in maintaining a safe and supportive environment, especially in educational institutions like schools and colleges.

UGC Public Notice: Say No to Drugs
By outlawing the possession, use, and consumption of drugs and alcohol by college students both on and off campus, the BCA Anti-Drugs committee aims to maintain a drug-free campus.
Objectives of the Anti-Drugs Committee
ü To raise awareness in order to guarantee a campus free of drugs and substances.
ü Encourage students to volunteer for anti-drug initiatives in their lives by involving them in anti-drug activities and educating them about the negative effects.
Duties of the Anti-Drugs Committee
Ø To plan awareness-raising events at the college with the assistance of relevant, approved organizations and agencies.
Ø To inform students of the negative effects of drugs and alcohol.
Ø To promote peer policing among students to discourage drug use.
Ø To report any instances of drug use by students to the Anti-Drugs committee’s student volunteers.
Ø To inform the students of the negative consequences of alcohol and drugs.
